SUMMER 2006 - Week #8: What's New This Week?



Note: So, how many more weeks can I be expected to post this? Probably only a couple more - by mid-August-ish, new "summer" shows will no longer be premiering, and instead (early) Fall shows (esp. on FOX) will start premiering. So expect only a couple more editions of this listing...

So, what's up this week? Tonight, the Sunday edition of CBS's "Big Brother [7]: All-Stars" premieres, as does Lifetime's new FBI procedural "Angela's Eyes".

Later, in the "I Really Hate This Scheduling" Department, Sci-Fi's new drama "Eureka" premieres Tuesday at 9pm, exactly opposite CBS's 'performance' edition of "Rock Star: Supernova" (this really sucks, as I want to watch both - looks like Eureka may get the VCR treatment...). (Also, syndicated reruns of "Dead Like Me" will premiere on the Sci-Fi channel on Tuesday before "Eureka".)

Finally, ABC's new reality competition "The One: Making of a Music Star" premieres (on Tues. & Wed.).

So, what's up next week? The premiere of ABC Family's [TV movie(?) limited series(?)] "Fallen", and the return of ABC's "Night Stalker" to Sci-Fi channel (on Friday, July 28). And that's pretty much it. Hence, the coming wind-down of this listing.
(Apparently, the following week, NBC will start burning-off some of the unaired episodes of "E-Ring", starting Saturday, August 5.)
