As mentioned elsewhere, I gave up on The New Class after the second season, so this episode guide is good only for the 1993-95 seasons. The reasons for this are outlined below, and in the "History of The New Class" section (also see below); suffice to say that I thought (and still think) that The New Class lacked many of the elements that made Saved by the Bell, the original series, successful and funny. I continued to keep track of the changing casts of The New Class after the second season, but this episode guide is only good for the first two seasons. Season #7 of The New Class (which aired in the '99-'00 TV season) was the last season of (this incarnation) of Saved by the Bell. These episodes had already been filmed at the same time as the season #6 episodes (so the season #7 cast was the same as the season #6 cast). In any case, the series finale for The New Class (a "Graduation" episode) aired in May of 2000. There were rumors that Engel and co. were working on a couple of different (new) versions of Saved by the Bell for the season after The New Class left the air (which would have been the '00-'01 TV season), but it looks like it never happened.

Season 3 ('95-'96):NOTE: I gave up and stopped watching The New Class after season #2, having concluded that no matter how many cast changes the producers made, this show was unsalvagable, and was a poor continuation of the Saved by the Bell saga. (Note that this is my opinion, and my opinion only; see the "History" Section for more context on this.) In addition, it was 100% confirmed that season #7 was to be Dennis Haskins' last season, and Ashley Lyn Cafagna had already moved on to CBS's The Bold & The Beautiful after season #7 filming finished, so it was time to wrap this show up. Further, by all accounts, in season #6/#7, Maria, Eric and Katie should have been seniors (and were, as the Graduation episode proved). So, this was THE END, folks!
