The Nanny is a comedy produced by Fran Drescher. The
show was created by Fran Drescher, and her husband (at the time)
Peter Marc Jacobson. The
Nanny premiered in November 1993, as a late addition to CBS's fall
lineup. The show ran for six seasons, through 1998-1999 - see
the history of The Nanny for more
info. It is about the comical adventures of Fran Fine, the Sheffield
household and the Fine family, after Fran Fine takes
the job as the
Sheffield's nanny. It had the following cast:
