2.1: "What Weddings Do to People"

At the wedding of Jill's old flame, Becky Hart (Erin Daniels) - the one from the diary (see episode 1.18), Jack flips out when an off-hand remark by Jill indicates that they may not be as close to marriage as Jack thought. She then compounds the problem by trying to get Jill work as a photographer which hurts his pride. Meanwhile, Mikey tries to "score" at the wedding but he's striking out badly, while Elisa is hypersensitive at being the only non-dating single woman there. Audrey ends up showing up too, much to Barto's great relief, but it's awkward for them at first.

2.2: "Seriously, All Comma Proposals Aside"

Jack is beside herself with anticipation when Jill drops the bomb that he is planning to pop the question, but he is riddled with worry over how to make it a moment she will never forget. In the midst of the Jack/Jill proposal, Elisa finds out that Jill had once bought an engagement ring for her before they broke up, and Elisa is heartbroken. Meanwhile, Barto and Audrey try to start their relationship over, but Audrey can't do it and just wants to be friends. Barto confides to Elisa that it's enough for him if it's the only way he can be with Audrey, but will it be?

2.3: "Caution: Parents Crossing"

Jack and Jill are thrust into unexpected territory when Jack's Mom, Cecelia (Melendy Britt; Note: Victoria Principal played this role in season #1) discovers that she and Jill are engaged, and she and Jack's father (Corbin Bernsen; Note: Kip Gilman played this role in season #1) come to town, immediately followed by Jill's widowed Mom (Kathryn Harrold). But while Jack immediately hits it off with Mrs. Jillefsky, Jill is increasingly put off by Jack's parents, especially her Dad, whose nose he breaks during a particularly heated exchange on the basketball court! Meanwhile, Audrey blurts out some of her sex life in an interview with her costar, Kyle Stratton (Richard Hillman), on a local Morning TV show, and is immediately humiliated all over NYC, while Barto is haunted by visions of Audrey everywhere, as her movie "SvengalI" is about to be released, and is furious over her indiscretion about their sex life. And Mikey tries to set up Elisa on a date with disastrous results.

2.4: "California Dreamin'"

The gang heads west for the premiere of Audrey's movie, "Svengali", in L.A., except Barto who pleads exams but who's really trying to keep his distance from Audrey, until a bad date with an old family friend named Sarah (Chandra West) that Barto's parents (Stephen Macht, Jessica Walter) had sent him up with changes his mind. On the plane with Mikey and Barto, Elisa hits it off incredibly well with a hunky doctor named Peter (Ed Quinn) after she's bumped up to First Class. Meanwhile, in the City of Angels, Jill is tempted by every attractive female he sees, while Jack fails to mention her engagement to her old flame, and Audrey gets it on with her hunky costar, Kyle Stratton (Richard Hillman). And Mikey is totally distracted on his L.A. trip waiting to here if he gets a loan to buy the bar from Kevin (John Pyper-Ferguson).

2.5: "Chivas and Lies"

With Jack and Jill having decided to move in together, the two set about scouring New York City in search of the perfect place together. At the same time, Jill is forced to make a tough decision when Mikey asks Jill to be his business partner. Elisa is getting creeped out by the idea that her psychologist boyfriend, Peter (Ed Quinn), is constantly analyzing her and has her "totally figured out". Barto feigns an illness to see what it's like on the other side of the doctor/patient divide. And Audrey's movie bombs, leaving her humiliated and back at 'Square One'. Sarah Wyman: Chandra West. Dante: Clayton Rohner.

2.6: "Pressure Points"

Issues abound when Jack feels overanalyzed by Elisa's new psychiatrist boyfriend, Peter (Ed Quinn), which causes Jack to take a dislike to him, which in turn infuriates Elisa with Jack. Mikey and Jill clash over management style at the @ bar, specifically Mikey's desire to date a cute waitress named Emily (Lindsay Price). Barto tries to hide a romance with Sarah Wyman (Chandra West) from his parents (Stephen Macht, Jessica Walter). And Jack and Elisa are smothering Audrey with their concern over Audrey's recent setbacks, and Audrey's being alone now that Jack has moved out. Dante: Clayton Roehner.

2.7: "Crazy Like a Fox, Hungry Like the Wolf"

When Barto learns that his new girlfriend, Sarah (Chandra West), is playing the field, Mikey urges him to shun his aversion to "multi-dating" and get out there himself so he doesn't get jealous and spoil everything. But Barto's lack of experience in the field of "multi-dating" soon becomes apparent, much to Barto's humiliation. Meanwhile, Jack's and Elisa's already shaky friendship is further tested when they go up against each other for an on-air job at work (a job which is originally Jack's idea), at the prodding of Jack's new boss, Kirsten (Maggie Wheeler). Audrey gets a hot new male roommate, Russell (Jeremy Garrett), but she and he immediately start to clash. Jill turns into a closet karaoke addict, when Mikey picks up an old karaoke machine for the @ Bar.

2.8: "The Big Bounce"

After a fight at the @ bar (which Mikey was handling before Jill set it off), Dante (Clayton Roehner) insists on a bouncer. But Mikey wants the bouncer gone, so Jill agrees to meet with Dante about getting rid of the bouncer, but instead Dante talks Jill into keeping the bouncer, which strains Mikey's and Jill's partnership. Jack swallows her pride (and her numerous reservations about Elisa's relationship) and attempts to patch things up with Elisa by being totally supportive of Elisa's relationship with Peter (Ed Quinn). But Elisa is starting to have her own reservations about the relationship. Meanwhile, Audrey has further issues with her roommate, Russell (Jeremy Garrett), namely his occasional bouts of nudity! And Barto is attracted to a cute waitress (Sybil Temchen).

2.9: "The Time/Sex Continuum"

Jack and Jill hit a dangerous 'rough patch' in their relationship as their careers are taking over their lives and hampering their relationship. Coincidentally, to get the Catholic Church that Jack wants, the two are required to go to pre-marital counseling, and the resulting sessions unearthed real issues. Meanwhile, Audrey gets hot and heavy with her new male roommate, Russell (Jeremy Garrett). Peter (Ed Quinn) stops by to see Elisa one last time, and sexual sparks fly, but is the relationship still doomed? And Mikey is consumed by the knowledge that his rare medical disorder is of intense interest to Barto's colleagues, but Mikey makes a pest of himself with Dr. Madison (Harry Shearer).

2.10: "Battle of the Bahamas"

After missing their previous pre-marital counseling session with the priest, Jack & Jill are declined the use of their church for the wedding. So Jack goes along with Jill's attempts to find a more romantic setting, which ends up being a wedding on a boat in the Bahamas. But after her mother intervenes on her behalf, the priest reverses course and Jack gets her church back. But when she accepts the church again without consulting with Jill first, Jill is furious and Jack may have blown the whole thing. Audrey tries to reign in her fling with Russell (Jeremy Garrett) with some ground rules. Mikey and Barto clash when Barto expresses an interest in dating waitress (and med student) Emily (Lindsay Price). Mr. Barrett: Corbin Bernsen.

2.11: "Bag Full of Love"

It's Jack's first birthday "with" Jill, and Jill is hoping to surprise her with a romantic home-cooked dinner. But he is unexpectedly shown up by Jack's 'ex' Matt Prophet (Josh Hopkins), who surprises Jack with an elaborate hotel rendezvous, and Jill's insecurities about it all start to get the best of him. Audrey is overcome by jealousy when Russell's (Jeremy Garrett) ex-girlfriend, Kate (Amie Carey), stays with them after she is booted out of her apartment. And Mikey convinces fellow roommates Barto and Elisa to go in together on a 51" TV, but Mikey's feelings are hurt when Elisa reneges, citing their 'temporary' living arrangement. Kirsten: Maggie Wheeler. Emily: Lindsay Price.

2.12: ">...And Nothing but the Truth"

With just three weeks to go before Jack and Jill's wedding, issues start to pop up that reveal how little the couple has discussed life's big issues with each other. So, after a discussion with Elisa, Jack draws up a list of topics to go over, and the result is a fight with Jill, and Jack going off to scout the Bahamas wedding location alone, for "some needed time apart". Barto is forced to admit to Emily (Lindsay Price) that the reason he and Audrey broke up is because Barto was unfaithful. Audrey moves back to her place (with Russell & Kate having departed), and lets her agent (Randy Becker) talk her into going on a 'Celebrity Date' game show. Audrey's date (A.J. Buckley) seems harmless enough at first - until she finds him inside her apartment, uninvited! A restraining order later, Audrey is forced to move back in with Elisa-Mikey-Barto.

2.13: "And Jack & Jill Came Down the Hill"

Jack and Jill scramble to keep their wedding on track after the hurricane destroys their Bahamas plan, but the couple is in a bad place, something that is especially concerning Jill. Jack talks things over with Jill's Mom (Kathryn Harrold), and Jill talks things over with Elisa. Eventually, Jill asks Jack to forget the long-term wedding arrangements, and to just get married the next day at the Justice of the Peace.

Meanwhile, Mikey and Elisa plan a party for their 'unattached' single friends, but they are shocked to learn just how depleted that group of friends has become, as most of their friends are now paired up! And Jack & Jill's sudden wedding plans force them to change the party into a wedding party anyway.

An overheard comment from Barto about how Audrey should face her fears vis a vis her stalker incident, prompts Audrey to move back to her place. But after Elisa stays over at her apartment the first night, Barto feels so guilty that he goes over to stay with Audrey until she feels safe again.

They guys help Jill and the girls help Jack, and they all (plus Barto's date Emily (Lindsay Price)) head down to City Hall. But the cattle call at City Hall is decidedly unromantic, so Jill calls it off.

The results if that Mikey & Elisa's party is a total dud, and the two get hammered, and start to reveal some repressed feelings for each other. The next day, neither remembers what happened the night before, but circumstantial evidence implies that Mikey's and Elisa's repressed feelings for each other may have been consummated.

The day after the aborted wedding, Jack goes to the doctor to treat her cold and discovers that she is pregnant!

That night, Audrey reveals that she still has feelings for Barto and that she wants to try again. Barto protests that he's with Emily, but Audrey just asks him to think about it.

Finally, Jack comes home after visiting the doctor. Jill sits her down and says what he's been trying to say all along: that he's worried that their relationship has moved to fast, and that it needs a stronger foundation before marriage, so he wants to call the wedding (but not their relationship) off. Jack meekly agrees, but neglects to tell him about her pregnancy...

THE END.
