3.1: "The Unforgiven"

The gang has a new place to practice at Lorena's house, but they can't play until they get their equipment out of hawk, which means they have to get a replacement for Matt, which Sly seems to provide with his cousin Mark, until it's revealed that Mark can't forgive Sly for an incident at Carnegie Hall years before; Lorena and Mark are introduced.

3.2: "Follow Your Dreams"

The gang takes a career aptiude test at school, and they are told of their likely careers: Mark as a guidance counselor, Sam as a photgrapher, Tiffani as a veteranarian, Lorena as a fashion designer, and Sly too! because he copied off her test, leading Sly to try to get closer to Lorena. Meanwhile Jake hits a song writing dry spell, so he gives it up for his "likely" career... as a florist!

The gang loves working at the school radio station, but when budget cuts threaten to close the station, Lorena and Jake resort to drastic measures; radio reviewer Mark reviews Tony's version of "Hamlet".

Sly gets set up with a gorgeous girl named Allison (Nikki Cox), on-line on "CompuChat", and he seems to be handling the fact she's blind, or is he?; Sly's success prompts Tony and Sam to go on-line, but they have no idea what they've gotten themselves into!

It's the battle of the bands again, and the Dreams are up against the rap group "Total Defiance", managed by the Sly- like Rosie (Senta Moses); the problem: when Total Defiance accuses Lorena of being a groupie, she wants to join the band... unfortunatley she can't sing a note, and the gang, and especially Jake, don't have the heart to tell her.

3.6: "The Long Goddbye"

Sly is heartbroken when Allison announces that she is leaving town to attend a school for the blind; Lorena and Sam complain that Jake and Tony aren't nearly as romantic as Sly, an impression that Jake and Tony seek to dispell.

3.7: "Trust Me"

Sly is a slave driver as the gang tries out for a video competition, so Jake and Mark have to spend long hours song- writing at Lorena's, but when Mark misunderstands Lorena's intentions and kisses her, it could be fatal for Mark when Jake finds out.

[Note: This is the first episode of the 3rd season where mention is made of Jake's second season romance with Tiffani; it is referred to only briefly.]

3.8: "The Princess And The Yeti"

To drum up business at his ski resort in Colorado, Lorena's father books the band to play there, but they run into a few snags, including an old mountain man, Lorena's refusal to work at the desk like she agreed to with her father, and a a Yedi monster terrorizing the resort (especially Tony!).

3.9: "Winkle/Wicks World"

The gang do their own TV shows for a class project: Tiffani and Mark do "Ms. Smith's Neighborhood", a surfer's version of "Mr. Rodger's"; Jake, Lorena and Sam do "Hall Montiors", a "Cops"-type show; and Sly and Tony do the "Goo-Ga-Moo Guys", a "Wayne's World" for girl chasers. But when Sly and Tony's show is a hit, the band loses Tony, and Sly as their manager (but gains Lorena!), and Sly's and Tony's friendship becomes strained.

3.10: "Daddy's Girl"

Tiffani's matchmaking tendencies go overboard when she sets her dad (Rod Arrants) up with a marine biologist, Ariel (Kristine Suttherland), and then regrets it when her dad starts spending too much time with Ariel, amking Tiffani jealous; meanwhile, Mark's compatability program declares that Tony and Sam and Jake and Lorena are wrong for each other, causing the couples to squabble.

3.11: "Family Tree"

The gang has to do a class project on their family tree, but when Tony can't trace his records back to before the Civil War, he is so embarassed that he lies about his heritage, dispapointing Jake who knows Tony's lying; meanwhile Sly and Mark test the Winkle charm on women.

3.12: "Harley and the Marlboro Man"

Jake is once again entered in a motorcycle contest [the one that Sly cost Jake in episode 2.5] and his mentor, Uncle Frank, visits to help Jake out, but he immediately gets Jake hooked on smoking which the gang disapproves of; the gang finds a box of money on the beach, and they leave Mark in charge of it, who is soon approached by Sly who wants to invest the money in one of his money-making schemes.

3.13: "Rebel without a Name"

A new "cool" guy at the school (Joseph D. Reitman) is going around bad-mouthing Jake, later challanging him to a motorcycle race, but when a speed bump outside Sharkey's causes Jake to crash his bike, he comes down with the jitters leaving him open to the charge of cowardice; Tony and Sly are school "Safety Montiors".

Tony's friend from the old 'hood, Darren (Gedrick Terrell), comes to visit Tony, and to enlist his help to save a mutual friend from a tough gang he's fallen in with, but when that friend turns up in the hospital, Tony must decide if he will go along with Darren's desire for revenge; the rest of the gang takes a job as singing telegrams.

For an Economics class project, the gang goes into business selling the tea based on the recipe of the great great Grandmother of Sam, who lets greed get the better of her judgement; Jake and Mark go into business for themselves as music teachers.

When Lorena bets Jake that greed can destroy friendships, even the Dreams', Jake and Lorena lead the others to believe that there is buried treasure in the area, and sure enough the others' friendships begin to unravel, to a level that even Lorena and Jake are surprised by.
