A Ritz Wedding!
Let me begin by saying "Sabrina and Jurgen are
awesome people with awesome families". There wedding was a beautiful intimate
affair at the Ritz in Laguna Niguel.
The images absolutely sing!

the first words out of my mouth were: holy <explitive> <another explitive> ! Out loud.... At work....
Watching it together this evening brought tears to our eyes.
You were unobtrusive, positive and lighthearted, and you have an impeccable eye. We can't wait to share your images with our friends and family!!! The pictures you made managed to capture the ceremony and celebration, but also our feelings for each other in a magical way. Thank you for documenting so beautifully our best day ever! Maybe our next best day ever, when we hopefully welcome a small van Engelen into the world, will be documented by you as well. We hope so. And you should know that everyone commented on how great you were, including the photog parents. :)

Heather and Tom....A Marbella Wedding
Okay, Okay I know!!
It has been a few weeks since the last post! It's been a extremely busy summer season so far, and its getting kicked up another notch for the next 4 months! We are looking forward to making some more amazing images throughout the summer and fall seasons.
Speaking of great images, read on...

Erin & Jimmy....Central California Style
Great way to start the summer season! Erin and
Jimmy had a beautiful wedding at the Historic Bankers Ballroom in downtown
Fresno. I wish this location was a little closer to home. Becky and I had a
blast capturing this one. Great couple....awesome families, and lots of
fun.

Long story short....My studio partner Mike and
his wife Ghada recently were expecting...No not guests from out of town. An
iiBaby...I mean a baby;-)
So I helped Mike out with a couple of his weddings before they had Little Adam. Mike was working in stealth mode when he captured a cool image of me taking an image of his client. l though this might be a neat idea for a promo piece. Have a good image (BAD HAIR) of myself working, while also showing the image I was capturing. Double whammo!
Curious what you guys think. Love it, hate it let me know?

Michelle and Ricky...a winter wedding

I hope you two stay warm up in Lake Tahoe...maybe you'll even get to see these from your cozy cabin somewhere out in the snow. Speaking of snow! Michelle I have to give you and all your ladies props. You all looked so great in those dresses on the beach despite how cold it was. Okay the gents did a great job also;-) Anyhow, Just wanted to say thanks for picking me to cover your winter wedding. Becky and I had a great time! I hope you enjoy these few favorites on the iiblog. There are so many more great images in your gallery. You two are gonna have hard time picking what goes into your album....sorry;-)

Alexi and John.....Estate wedding Los Feliz

Alert!!! Alert!!!...Massive wedding.....Barry and Amanda
Last Saturdays wedding was a special one. The
little sister of one of my oldest and best friends was married to a great
guy.
The bride, Amanda informed me shortly after starting to photograph her getting ready "Chris did you know when you first started hanging out with my brother I was 4 years old"
I didn't have a lot of time to think about that till after the wedding. I am always saying "Time flies" But this really drove it home. In these times with life moving faster and faster every day, It feels good to still be connected with a big part of my past when growing up.
As for the images.... They are fantastic of course;-) Enjoy them!
Message to Barry and Amanda
First thing...your wedding rocked guys!!!!. I just wanted to throw both of you a internet hug. Thank you for letting me be the one to capture such a special day for you.

These are a few of my favorites...Enjoy.

Island Style Wedding.....Michele and Glenn
First thing,
I just want to say "THANK YOU" Michele and Glen for choosing me to cover your amazing wedding. The Turtle Bay resort was truly a little piece of paradise. It was tough to leave! Especially since Ilana and I were out at 4:45 the next morning to get back for two more weddings. We will definitely be back.

Diane and Dave at the Wyndham
Becky and I had a great time shooting Sunday at
the Wyndham Hotel in Costa Mesa. It was my first time at the property. I must
say I was impressed with the stunning scenery for Diane and Dave's ceremony!
Yet another beautiful wedding coordinated by Lisa
Simpson. Brides reading this....Please get a wedding coordinator!!!
They are a truly valuable asset to have on the day of your wedding. That
said....great job Lisa!

A rooftop affair......Mike and Margot
Margot and Mike tied the knot on top of Santa
Monica...Literally. The rooftop location was amazing, and thats before one of
the best sunsets I've seen all summer!
I loved the layedback and elegant look of the whole event...very LA! The event was planned in a just a few weeks, but you would have never known thanks to Florist/ coordinator & new friend Bobbe Vagell and Todd Huth www.bvfloralconcepts.com Awesome to meet you guys!

Sandra and Jamie at Old Ranch
I am not quite sure how Sandra and Jamie found me to photograph their wedding. But I am glad they did! I really just love these images. They are a great couple. They fit together like to pieces of a puzzle. Congrats on your marriage guys. Enjoy your vacation and your images!
