An uneventful early morning run. The heat was not as bad. I am not a big fan of running on an empty stomach, though. Tomorrow morning I will be doing a longer run.

Ran on an empty stomach early in the morning to avoid the heat. Cooler, with the temperature at 75 degrees, but still warm. Saw three turtles laying eggs on the banks of the "mighty" Muddy River. Tomorrow is a day off due to heat.

Longer run to Boston Garden. Early on a Sunday morning, but it was still miserably hot (80° F). Kept the pace up, but not as consistent as I would like. Need to get new running shoes.

Slowed down to a more comfortable pace, but it turned out to still be a bit faster than the 7:00 pace I had been expecting. Getting hot out there, though. Luckily most of the course I run is shaded.

My first real run with the Nike Wristband, my normal five mile run. One issue I have with the Nike+ unit is that it causes me to speed up a bit since I know I will be able to see my pace when I get back. I need to work on slowing down to my more normal, and probably more healthy, pace. I would normally like to run this route in about a 7:00 pace.
