Illinois Academy of Music offers students in the Northern Suburbs of the Chicago area an opportunity to develop their interest and skills in the study of voice, piano, strings, brass, and woodwind instruments.

Illinois Academy of Music is a division of Private Education Services, Inc., a nonprofit, organization recognized under IRS 501(c)3 as a nondenominational, religious, educational organization. Tax-deductible contributions may be made for the student Scholarship Fund which is used to assist qualified students with tuition assistance.

The Academy offers private, semi-private, and class instruction for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Instructors are skilled, with experience in a variety of bands and orchestras, and are dedicated to the mission of developing these skills and experiences for students in this community.

Instructional and class offerings are based on 15-week Terms.

Registration and auditions (or interview, for first time students) are required and are scheduled by appointment with the instructor.
