School
There has been much shaking of the blogging
world. Lately at MU a dentistry student was suspended for criticizing the
schools administrators, and also a professor. According to school policy you
just don't do that. Unless you can do it in constructive manner no associated
with such blatant negative remarks, and unproven allegations against the
professor, and Administrators. For all you free speech advocates out there, can
it. Firstly would you like to be accused of something that never happened.
Secondly we offered him scholarship money into a school of dentistry. Not cheap
sense we are the only school of Density left in WI. Third we are private
institution. With that we are run like a business. You can't got around
calling you boss an ass at every chance you get because you will get canned.
End of story. Then also I think this bring up point about respecting people.
If you have to open your mouth, then offer something useful. We don't care
about your remedial thoughts.
In all
defense of blogs, they are a fantastic way to see a glimpse of other peoples
lives. I just read someone's that just shows how much they love life in
general. It can show the journey of a Biomedical student(me), or a doctor, or
even a Professor. This all must be done in good taste. It also provides a
fantastic democratic medium for people to give ideas, and discuss them.
Although this must be conducted in a civilized manner. It's funny how the most
closed minded people are the ones most likely to open their mouths. This
technology must be used as a tool for the advancement of the human race. Not
the destruction of it. We can not let hate be passed with it. So please stop
complaining. Pointing the finger and figure something out.
