YOUR CATEGORY IS DETERMINED BY YOUR AGE AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2010. This may seem strange but it is a UCI requirement. So you may be in a different category for Cyclocross than the one indicated on your UCI licence.
Women may elect to ride in the women's category in the first race or with the elite women in the second race.
U13 MALE AND FEMALE –Born in 1995 or earlier
U15 MALE AND FEMALE – Born in 1996 or 1997
U17 (Cadet) MALE AND FEMALE – Born in 1994 or 1995
JUNIOR MEN AND WOMEN –Born in 1992 or 1993
ELITE MEN AND WOMEN –– Born 1991 or earlier - no limit on upper age (formerly called Senior Men and Women).
NOVICE MEN – Born 1991 or earlier and new to cyclo-cross
WOMEN – Born 1991 or earlier
MASTER A – Men born between 1971 and 1980
MASTER B – Men born between 1961 and 1970
MASTER C – Men born between 1951 and 1960
MASTER D - Men born earlier than 1951
