Code Words/Phrases
I thought it would be fun to create a page where I record all the code words from all previous rounds. So if you ever filled in a code word and were like 'what is that?' you can look here for a short description on what that code word means and, if appropriate/possible, a picture.

ROUND 1
Code word: Mr. Waffles
Refers to: One Tree Hill
Mr. Waffles is Haley's teddy bear. He is seen in the episode 'Truth Doesn't Make A Noise'. Haley is seen sitting on her bed hugging him and her mother calls the teddy by his name. We do not see Mr. Waffles in any episode other than this one.

ROUND 2
Code word: Babette ate oatmeal
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
The character of Kirk is known for his many different jobs and in the episode 'A Tale of Poes and Fire' Kirk is trying to make money by selling t-shirts with 'interesting' statements of things that have happened in Stars Hollow recently. Babette Ate Oatmeal is the statement featured on one of these t-shirts.

ROUND 3
Code word: High Flyers
Refers to: One Tree Hill
High Flyers is the name of an advanced basketball camp that Nathan attends over the summer. We see Nathan at the camp in the episode 'Like You Like An Arsonist'.

ROUND 4
Code word: Keller Instinct
Refers to: One Tree Hill
Keller Instinct is the name of Chris Keller's CD and online blog.

ROUND 5
Code word: Hep Alien
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
Hep Alien is the name of Lane's band. The other band members are Zach, Brian and Gil. (The picture shows the band in their bus and you can see the sticker on the front which says 'Hep Alien'.)

ROUND 6
Code word: Fantasy Boy Draft
Refers to: One Tree Hill
In season three, Brooke organises a Fantast Boy Draft whereby all the cheerleaders get to 'draft'/choose a guy and this means that for the rest of the season, none of the other cheerleaders can go out with him.

ROUND 7
Code word: the Christmas Nazi
Refers to: Roswell
In Roswell, Isabel goes a little crazy over Christmas and gets obsessive about organistation of activites and the way things should be. Eg. she has a diagram showing the perfect type of Christmas tree which she gives to Max when he goes to buy their tree. The diagram shows foliage density, height, branch length etc. So, Michael gives Isabel the nickname 'the Christmas Nazi'

ROUND 8
Code word: Awesome Blazer!
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
Lane has a band and in the band are also Brian, Zach and Gil. Brian gets a job with Century 21 and gets a promotion. When he is telling his bandmates that he got promoted he says that he gets to keep his blazer (a yellow blazer that he wears at work). Gil then says 'awesome blazer'!

ROUND 9
Code word: Hands off my pumpkin!
Refers to: Charmed
Cole says this in the Charmed 'fairytale' episode - Happily Ever After, in season 5.

ROUND 10
Code word: Halo
Refers to: One Tree Hill
Halo is a song by Haley James Scott/Bethany Joy Galeotti on One Tree Hill.

ROUND 11
Code word: my baby's a genius
Refers to: One Tree Hill
Jake says this to Peyton, about his baby daughter, Jenny, when he thinks he hears Jenny say 'dada'.

ROUND 12
Code word: June Third
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
June Third was the original date for Lorelai and Luke's wedding until they postponed it.

ROUND 13
Code word: Lets go hunting
Refers to: Charmed
This is a line that Piper says in the 100th episode of Charmed. She is referring to going and hunting a demon.

ROUND 14
Code word: Five days ago I died
Refers to: Charmed
Roswell begins with Liz reciting from her journey 'September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that things got really weird'. She is referring to her being shot and dying but being saved by Max Evans, a Roswell alien with healing abilities.

ROUND 15
Code word: Pause to choke up
Refers to: One Tree Hill
In a speech Dan makes prior to being elected as major, he has 'pause to choke up' written on the cards of his speech.

Code word: Get out of town boy
Refers to: One Tree Hill
Larry says this after he sends away Peyton's boyfriend, Pete Wentz from fall out boy. Peyton says "but Daddy that was Pete from Fall Out Boy!" to which Larry says "Yeah well now he's Pete from get out of town boy!"

ROUND 16
Code word: Bring me back a cloud
Refers to: Charmed
Phoebe says this to Piper and Leo when Leo takes Piper up to the elders in season 3.

ROUND 18
Code word: Sensitive but not a wussbag
Refers to: Charmed
When Paige and Phoebe are casting a spell and making a potion to create "the perfect man" for Piper, they write down all the qualitites he must have and throw them into the potion. This is one of them.

ROUND 19
Code word: what's the big commotion?
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
A lyric in a song Zack writes when Mrs Kim tells him he needs to write a hit song.

ROUND 20
Code word: Pheeb TV
Refers to: Charmed
Piper says 'Pheeb TV' in reference to Phoebe's premonitions.

ROUND 21
Code word: hockey puck, rattlesnake, monkey, monkey, underpants
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
Lorelai's strange train of thought.

ROUND 22
Code word: I want a horn!
Refers to: Gilmore Girls
Lorelai says this to Luke in late season 7 when she refuses to get a bell for her bike, saying that instead she wants a horn.
