Back to Calvert

The boat is safely back in Calvert marina after a short excursion up the Chesapeake to Annapolis/Baltimore and we are on the way to Florida for a weekend with the Ehrlichs. We have had rainy days for almost a week which has put paid to any attempts to continue the deck caulking, though it didn't give us an excuse to postpone the dinghy cleaning (lots of nasty growth), oil changing (main engine/gearbox), fuel tank crud removal (yuck) and water-maker re-pickling amongst other tasks. The Fischer-Panda genset is now 'working' again after the replacement of it's corroded through starter motor cable and stud (though it still took around 30 attempts to start). So far I think I have worked on the genset for over double the hours that we have actually been able to run it - hopefully the latest fix is the last for a while. We are looking forward to a relaxing weekend in Florida with no possibility for boat projects.... There are some log entries for the latest trip in Charleston North, the pictures are from Annapolis and Baltimore.
