Back in the water at last

At last. I can now cook (no more subway tuna sandwiches!!), cool beer without bags of ice (that have to be carried up a ladder), clean my teeth (without climbing down and up a ladder), wash dishes without balancing them (down and up a ladder) - you get the idea. The boat was launched just before 9am this morning and I am now safely tied up in a marina slip (still at York River Yacht Haven ). Not much time to enjoy my new found freedom (though I did have time to cook some pasta) as there was a big re-provisioning trip to 'farm fresh' (which is anything but) completing the NMEA2000 bus wiring to include the new DST100 depth/speed gauge and running some new cables for the bow nav lights and windlass controller (and cleaning the bird droppings off the deck, topping up the batteries etc etc). At least the todo list and recurring maintenance lists are looking a little healthier at long last. 2nd picture is of all the cabin sole taken up today to run all the cables.
