It was brought to my attention that some of you may have been having problems getting the current version of UAC from my site, or VersionTracker, for that matter. You can go right ahead and email me if you have any further troubles.

Just thought I'd pop in to let everyone know that next week, from Saturday, Jan. 22nd at 10 p.m. until Sunday, Jan. 23rd at 6 a.m. (PST), this site will be down; server maintenance and all that. In other news, the rewrite of UAC from the ground up is coming along nicely. Thus, it'll be a bit until we have any more updates, but this site and VersionTracker will be the first places to know.

Just popping in to wish you all a merry Christmas, and a happy Holiday season. For most of us, the holidays are a time to relax after ripping out hair, your own and other's, after the holiday shopping craze. For me, I just don't get to pull out anyone else's hair.

Well, this is a bit of a double update. Quadruple, if you include the third and fourth pieces. First, we had UAC version 1.4.6 released a while ago, but evidently I forgot to update Version Tracker or this site.
Second, we have UAC version 1.4.7, which is getting proper attention from me.
Third, I ran across an amazing site. He has exactly,( and I do mean, exactly; not just what I'd settle for) what I wanted in stat counting, and he does it for free. Let's hope he doesn't go down like the other two or three that I've come across. The good news is, he's not new. He's been running for 4 years or so with excellent success. Go ahead, check him out.
Finally, I have had an incidental crash course in html design, as the html guy left me with two sites to do on my own, and so I've been going through here cleaning out the newbie-esque residue. I don't like to plug my own sites (though I have no problem with others), but you can find the links on the links page. I still don't like html, but I'm getting better at it, so expect to see some nice new formatting around the old barn.
The old barn... maybe I've lived in the south too long...

It has been quite a while since any updates were posted, for an amalgam of reasons. Most were listed in the archived news; and now, with a child of seven months, things have cooled a bit. Hopefully we'll have version 1.5 here eventually, but not until I can fulfill a particular promise I made one of my users. So, crawling along, UAC version 1.4.5 is here, adding internal fixes and new functionality.
Hang in there Peter, I haven't forgotten you!
