Here are some shots of Buster parts and assemblies. I'll update the report as I finish more stuff.

This is what Buster looked like on the computer. This is what Buster looks like now. Battery tray with silicone rubber shock pads. The holes are for ventilation. Batteries press-fit into the tray. Batter tray lid with shock pads. (Upside down.) Battery tray final assembly. This assembly eventually gets sandwiched between the chassis top and bottom. Custom magmotor mount/heat sink. This part is also shock mounted using the waterjet cut rubber pads. Gear system for driving the weapon bar. Oy! The underside of the weapon bar with gear mounted. Electrical junction box. (Cover removed) Wires enter/exit through rubber grommets. Big bearing for weapon. The side panels look like this... Lock cap with thrust bearing. Tongue and groove... Sidewalls fit into the grooves in the base. Same for the corner pieces. Wheel well (one of two). Shaft with ball caster. Hammer heads Antenna assembly. Lid added. The chassis base. Surface for motor mounts. Details of how the weapon gearbox locates on base. Motor shock mounted. ESC shock mounted Drive motors, weapon motors, and both esc's. Sidewalls and wheel wells added. (9/28/04) Drive wheel assembly. Wiring is 75% done. Flexible inline clutch. The chassis fits! Done! Floor level view. Buster's first hit in his first competition.
