Dr. Panion leads the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Metropolitan Orchestra, and the Gospel Goes Classical Symphony Orchestra in various concerts, featuring nationally recognized artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Byron Cage, Juanita Bynum, and Ruben Studdard, as well as local Birmingham favorites such as Juliet Arrington, Kevin Turner, and Belinda Peoples. Concerts vary in style from a Gospel Christmas to a concert celebrating Classical composers of African descent, from the incorporation of Jazz improvisation to large choral oratorios.
