NX-11 no change: 7am report in New Milford, still comes north on Mondays and Fridays
NX-12 report Canaan 7am (8 am on Mondays), round trip to
Pittsfield, Mon-Fri.
NX-12X report Canaan 4 pm Friday, relieve NX-12 and NX-11 crews into Canaan.
NX-13 report Canaan 6 am on Sunday, one way to New Milford.
report on call Mon.- Thu. to relieve NX-12, and make a round trip Canaan to New Milford.
The Berkshire Scenic Railroad now operates between Lenox and Stockbridge on weekend days.
ride the "Lenox Local" a 20 mile 2-1/2 hour round trip between Lenox and Stockbridge at 10am and 1:30 pm Saturdays Sundays and Holidays only.
Equipment includes vintage diesel power and 1920s coaches. A museum housed in a restored 1902 depot contains area railroading exhibits and three model train displays.

The crews tend to be friendly, but tresspassing and interfering with railroad operations is not reccomended nor is it helpful for the many who enjoy railfanning!
CSX police DO patrol the Pittsfield area around the Boston Line.
