Rachel to Move to Honduras
Rachel has decided to move to Honduras!  She is missing her family, especially her younger brother and sister and has always wanted to teach in another country.  So, she is busy saying her good-byes and when we visit the United States in July, she will return with us.  She has many offers for work in bilingual schools, including both Kesia and Seth's schools.  Stay tuned...
Hanson Family to Visit the US, July, 2005
We decided that we had gone long enough without seeing our family, especially our children and our granddaughter, Adrienne, so are planning a visit to the United States in July.  We will first attend General Synod, the national meeting of the United Church of Christ July 1-5 in Atlanta, then travel on to Iowa for two more weeks. 
Adrienne Celebrates Her First Birthday
No birthday has ever been celebrated in so much stye in so many places.  In Adrienne's honor we had a cake and sang happy birthday loud enough for her to hear in Iowa.  And, in addition to a get-together with her other set of grandparents, she got together with her aunts, uncles and grandparents in Ames and we understand happily smeared chocolate cake into the white carpet.  For updated pictures of the most beautiful baby in the world visit this link.  [ADRIENNE]
Joe Joins Us for the Summer, 2004
Becuase we had sold his only other home and moved ourselves to Honduras, Joe decided that he would come to Honduras and spend the summer with us.  While here he helped us plant a garden at the Nutrition Center, and played with the children we had there.  He had the opportunity to visit several museums, Pulhapanzak Falls, Copan Ruinas and the beach at Tela.  It was great having him here and we hope he returns again soon. Eric and Rebecca Married, May 22, 2004
