Self-harm (cutting): a conversation on ASBO Jesus


This particular set of cartoons on ASBO Jesus is a discussion of a subject that a lot of people ignore or, like me, are ignorant of: people who cut themselves. It's a lot more common that I would have guessed, and it's something that needs to be dealt with outside of the usual "bumper sticker" mentality of Christians.

The comments on the cartoons come from psychiatrists, youth workers, volunteers, current and former self-cutters, etc.

It's worth reading this thread, whether you're directly involved or aware of of the practice or not. Please read it.
