LBC youth Sun May 6: 1 Cor 12 "What's your spiritual gift?"


I think the title of the lesson reflects a serious flaw. My lesson is instead, "Who wants to be a superhero?"

Who's your superhero?
The flaw is that the question implies that each person has a specific gift that permanently resides within them. Paul does not call them "Your gifts," he describes them as gifts that are distributed as the Spirit determines.
