Cancer update:Tues Dec 23, 2008


I emailed family, but I've found out others are hearing the news through the rumor mill.  Here's the scoop:

I, like roughly 15% of the population, lack the CD-22 marker.  That is, the associated study drug would be useless to me.  (See option 2 from last Friday.)

The doctor is working hard to get me into another study, asking that some rules be bent so that I can be admitted to the study and be assured of receiving the drug, not a placebo.  They'll let me know when they hear anything.
