For those who are just tuning in

Apparently a number of my friends have not yet heard of our situation. Things have moved so fast that we haven't been able to let everyone know that we'd like to.

And from here I will resume my normal weekly newsletters. For now, I can say that I am breathing much more easily and that my heart is not racing (for me that means 80-90 bpm) nor is it painful. Part of that is because Viva has stayed home with me so that I don't have to get up and take the animals out. I'm good to walk about 100 yards per day, but after that I'm exhausted. My appetite today is much improved and I am feeling only minimal effects from the chemotherapy.

I will say that Prednisone is one of the most nasty tasting medicines ever created. Fortunately, I only have to take it 5 days for each chemo, so tomorrow will be the last time for a couple of weeks.
