The Muppet Christmas Carol


Mother always told me: never eat singing food! This is a very good movie.



This one is one of our family favorites. We saw it in the theater when it first came out and thought, "We have to buy this one." A year later Viva bought the VHS, and I thought, "Why spend money on another movie ..." Well, we watched it 5 times in a row. That day.

No, we're not obsessive compulsive, this is just a fun movie. Other than the fact that most characters are furry puppets (and that there are two Marleys), it's pretty faithful to the book. Of course, the muppet additions make it wonderful - "Light the lamp not the rat!" "Heat wave - this is my island in the sun!" "No, I'm a large absent minded spirit! Doh -ho-ho-ho!"



Who, us sing songs from this movie just for fun? Lah-dee-dah



'Tis the season when the saints can empploy us to share the news about peace and to keep love alive!

So which movie would we pick: this one, or Return of the King.umm.... ummm... let me get back to you on that.
