Fawlty Towers (DVD)


There are some dramas that just capture the essence of the human condition. John Cleese flawlessly portrays the flawed Basil Fawlty.

The Monty Python crew stayed at a lousy hotel - and so the series Fawlty Towers was born in the mind of John Cleese. The self-centered Basil Fawlty, the trying-the-best-he-can Manuel, Polly - practical and trying to make ends meet , and of course the lethal Sybil Fawlty, are all wonderfully woven together in a tapestry of human foolishness that makes this series almost impossible not to love.

This is a wonderful DVD set.
