Thunderbirds

What? No puppets!?!?

Have you seen the Thunderbirds TV series? No? Ok, then have you seen the ads for Orbitz where they use marionettes for actors? That's the Thunderbirds. It's an old TV series that has a cult following on Tech TV. Low tech effects, some sets made up of junk found in office trash cans.

I watched the reruns on TV when I was little. My son watches reruns on Tech TV now. So does my brother in law. This is a TV show whose acting requires the use of MARIONETTES. Occasional use of human hands to point at screens. But no people actors. None. Got it?

So who's the moron who came up with the idea of real people playing Thunderbirds in this film? Nope, not going to see this one. I don't care if it's "artistic expression," this is one step away from "The Last Temptation of Christ" on the blasphemy-o-meter.

"And that's all I got to say about that."
