Spider-man 3

Is it an in-depth character study, or a movie about comic book characters?

I really don't know what to write. I rented the movie from Netflix. I watched it.

I could tell you that Spider-man 3 is:
- A study in human nature, the warring between the better angels of our nature and our darker selves.
- A window into the mind of "the bad guys," who are doing what they think is right, although their pain makes them blind to some of the consequences.
- A treatment of when people are - and are not - ready for the commitment of marriage.
- On the value and power of personal forgiveness of what seems unforgivable.

Sure, I could tell you that. But hang on - this is a movie based on a COMIC BOOK! That later became a Saturday morning KIDS CARTOON! It's an action movie about guy gets girl - Oh, but wait, does he really? Or does the other guy? Or does the other guy really? or ...

Ok. It's a fun movie to watch. Once.

Spider-man 4 is in the works? Is there really that much plot going on here?
