Enchanted


Enchanting.

I went to see this movie because my wife and daughter wanted to. The four of us (my son and I with them) went to the theater.

What's up with a half hour of commercials before the movie? Bugs Bunny would be better.

Anyway, I knew nothing about it. It was syrupy, sugary, ugh, just too Disney "everything is perfect" for me. It was a joke.

Well, what do you know, it really was a joke! Disney spoofed themselves!

They go to live action. The princess needs to clean an apartment, so she leans out a window in New York City, sings her little song, and then all the rats in the apartment come to help while she continues to sing. "... and even though you're vermin ..." is the only line I can remember out of the song. I laughed.

I won't spoil the rest of the movie. It's worth seeing. We're probably going to buy the DVD when it comes out.
