Stranger than Fiction


I liked this one. It's worth watching and then watching again.

My wife and I usually don't like Will Ferrell's films. Elf was a disappointment, and the less said about The Ballad of RIcky Bobby the better.

On the other hand, we enjoy Emma Thompson's work.

Emma won on this one. Will Ferrell isn't trying to be a comic, and that lends itself to the comedic pace of the film. Emma Thompson, as the director and the casting director said, is perfectly cast. It's a fun movie for those of us old enough to remember President Carter. (He's not anything to do with the movie, but that gives you a benchmark.)
