Qurterback Matt Uliano tossed TD passes to Dick Goggin and Paul Berardi, leading Canton to a shutout over Stoughton and a 9-0-1 season. Steve Leonard booted a 22 yard field goal, the first in the Canton-Stoughton Series. Ed Badejo rushed for 80 yards while Rib Schnider, who had 16 touchdowns during the season, added one against Stoughton.
