Bulldog fullback Dick Decembrele smashed away for over 100 yards rushing. Dick was also great at defensive end, and he earned the first Outstanding Player of the Game Award presented annually by the Town Club. Co-captain Steve Matthews probably played his greatest game that day at quarterback.
