Is there anyone out there who can tell me whether it will be possible to create projects on PC whith the coming version of SC for windows or not? To me, Allegiant is a bit vague here. It seems that you will be able to make some limited changes to converted mac-projects from within windows, but I would like to know if you can create your own projects on PC. I would be most grateful for any information on this matter.

Technically speaking, you *will* be able to create your own projects under Windows. The reason for this is that Allegiant will be making the Runtime Editor available for Windows, and will have to support the "new project" command in SuperCard. You will not have as full control over the Windows-created project as you would with a Mac-created project that is ported to WIndows because SuperEdit will not be moving to Windows (from what I understand), and there are some things you can only do in SuperEdit (like autotracing buttons, changing the backgrounds of cards, etc.

What about 'playing' hypercard stacks on a Windows system? I heard Apple was bringing out a player; when? or is there a way around this?

To "play" HC stacks under Windows, you'd first have to convert your HC stack to an SC project (something that SuperEdit does pretty well), and then port the SC/Mac project to SC/Windows.
