Our chalet is ideally located so that you to get the most out of your biking holiday this summer. Only 45 minutes transfer from Salzburg, we offer a wide and flexible range of biking that will fit any style of riding and any budget, whether you are an individual or in a group. Some of our highlights: MTB: 2 bike parks, Schladming and Wagrain Open from May to October Salzkammergut trophy marathon race, July 18th. A race with 4000 competitors in the stunning mountains just south of Salzburg. Austria's biggest MTB Race. Register soon as it is getting so popular that entries are now limited! Dachstein Runde 186km MTB route around the 3000m high glacier. 2-4 days of pure MTB pleasure. Eagles Nest tour: A 60km day ride from Salzburg, across in to Germany around Berchesgarden and back into Austria, down an amazing 10km technical goat track. Hand picked, guided single track routes, up to 12 km in length. Purpouse built, mapped and sign posted routes in 3 grades of difficulty. 40 routes to choose from! All of the above in mountains ranging from 600 - 2000m in hieght .No mud plugging, just fast gravel and rock addiction. Go out on on your own and explore, or take a guide so you can pick the best of what is on offer. ROAD: Quiet, well surfaced roads, with drivers that respect bikes. 100's of routes to choose from, in stunning scenery. Fancy some European sportive style racing? Come and take part in the Chiba alpine cup. May 24th is the first round. Some 2000 riders of all abilities battling it out over a 96 or 176 km course. The start is only 10 minutes from our house. Round 2 is 21st of June, and is also close by. Both races are great fun to ride, and the size and organisation is fantastic. If you would like more information, please do email us.
