TAs in charge of their lab sections for grading, mark entry, and office hours
Will usually be in charge of one of the two labs sections only (assuming status quo to be 8 daytime lab sections):
- 8 TAs total.  All graduate students.  All will "junior" TA a section before "senioring" their own section
- incoming TAs will likely TA 140/150 their first term, until we can determine their suitability for 100

Off-week Monday 1:30-4:00 will be TA meeting and lab time
- for the first half hour, there will be a sort meeting to discuss previous week's issues
- then TAs will break into their groups to perform the exact work the student groups will be performing the next week
On-week Monday 1:30 will be a short (30 minute) meeting to go over any last-minute issues before the week of labs begin, and for each TA to submit 2 practical exam questions and 2 written exam questions for the given lab for their section
TA (paid) Office/making hours will be on the "off weeks" (grading with the help for the "junior" TA may be done during that time, as well).
Departmental remuneration (for 150 hours,... in the case of a 180 hour request, 30 additional Lecture Marking hours will be given):
TDC Seminar - 7 hours
Off-week meetings (6) - 2.5 hours each = 15 hours
On-week meetings (6) - 0.5 hours each = 3 hours
Paid prep. time (6) - 3 hours each = 18 hours
Office hours (7) - 3 hours each = 21 hours  All term marking to be done during Office Hours
First lab taught (7) - 3 hours each = 18 hours
Second lab taught (7) - 3 hours each = 18 hours
Lab Marking - 20 hours (Lab final exam marking)
Lecture Marking - 30 hours (6 hours MT1, 6 hours MT2, 18 hours Final)

** TAs request that if you are going to come by for assistance, send an email in advance to let them know what you need help with.  hat will allow them to be better prepared when you come in to office hours
TAs will be given a logbook
- note which students/groups have come in for help, when, and regarding what topics
- keep with group folders in office (never bring to lab)
- keep track of all grading time, keys, changes to keys, suggestions for improvement
- as a paper gradebook to be turned in at the end of term for compiling grades

A variation on this might be useful to keep things consistent between labs
