VR or Virtual Reality

VR or Virtual Reality scenes are much the same as panoramas, the only difference being that VR closes into a circle and becomes one picture all around you, putting you in the centre of the scenery. The example below was taken one afternoon at the Steveston docks in Richmond, BC. Pay special attention to the little white areas top and bottom in the scene, since this demonstrates how accurate the Panamatic is. With a digital camera’s software, the white areas are discarded and you lose some of the image. With a hand-held camera, these white areas would be much larger because it’s impossible to manually hold a camera totally steady.

This Level has been designed to mount between a tripod and a camera.

The Level will fit any standard tripod and hold the camera in an absolute horizontal position. It will index into twelve positions. It rotates a full 360°. It assists the photographer in taking panoramic pictures as well as todays Virtual Reality sceneries. These V.R. clips have become very popular and are found more and more on the Internet.
