IDE vs Language Classes

Basically commenting on comments....

So then, we'll start from the language element classes first. (But since I'm easily bored, I'll probably do a little on the editor/interpreter...the IDE classes at the same time. How 'bout I set it up so someone else can play, too?)

So, here's a naming convention I'll be following:

VOC prefix for any class having to do with a language element.
FNX for anything dealing with the IDE. (Also considered PhNX, but figured a 3-letter combination more convenient.)

Wanted to set up a new Xcode project and start getting it ready for distribution, but got home too late last night and have been too busy with work-work today to get very far.

Did play around with Fireworks before bed and create a new symbol/icon for the IDE:

Haven't checked to see if anyone else uses anything like it...maybe some college frat house somewhere, the Phi Nu Xis? Should be obvious where it comes from.

The interesting thing is that in (Ancient) Greek (at least), the word was spelled phi-omicron-iota-nu-iota-xi (ΦΟΙΝΙΞ)...all of which are contained in the symbol above, if you look at it the right way. I thought that was kinda neat.

Anyway, back into the fray tomorrow!
