Tom Smith's theOTHERblog contains a entry for February 17 entitled "Mind-Numbing New Interface Technologies" and linked to this site. On page 2 of the article is a reference to the several scenes in the movie "Minority Report" wherein Tom Cruise dons data gloves and uses them to manipulate various forms of data appearing on a giant screen (holographic, if I recall correctly).
I have to confess that several times over the last year I have searched the Web to check on the availability of data gloves and other alternative input devices. Surely I'm not the only one to see the possible connections between such technology and what we are trying to do?
Just a random thought or two....
