Sorry, still a bit under construction, but here are a few things I do in my time off (precious scarce of late, unfortunately!):
- Sample different varieties of Nihonshu (osake), but not in the quantities seen in previous years!
- Torture my neighbors by practicing the shamisen with the windows open (not so much of late)
- Gardening (getting ready for the big spring Plant-a-thon! (?!?)
- Macintosh Programming
- I'm a member of the Open Prograph Initiative (OPI), an open-source group which seeks to reimplement the visual programming language Prograph. I'm the assistant list administrator for the group's mailing list and also webmaster for the unofficial official website at http://www.ospgli.org/.
- I also have some ideas for applications I hope to develop for the Mac, mostly translation and automatic grammar checking tools.
