Daren has done it again! This is a beautiful sled! Please grab some coffee and be patient if you have a Dial-up internet connection. There are a lot of good photos on this page, and it may take a while to load....
| This is Daren Carlson's 1974 Rupp Third Dimension. Daren Started assembling this sled from parts in the spring of 2002.
| No shortage of airflow through this Free Air!
| There are no original Third Dimensions known to exist. According to Daren, all five prototypes were destroyed. There are a couple other mediocre reproductions out there, but this is, by far, the most accurate one.
| The fiberglass was hand laid in molds created from original 3D parts.
| All of the 3D prototypes had different powerplants. This 440 F/A with starbust heads was one of the engines known to be used.

| The aluminum fuel tank was hand-made based on photographs. |
| Check out those beautiful 'starburst heads on the 440 Kohler!

| This decal is a reproduction based on the decals found on all other Rupp Magnum race sleds.
| Daren and I loaded the sled up for its Waconia debut right after I took these pictures. The sled will likely be Daren's second cover in the VSCA printed magazine!
