Foreword
This guide has been produced in response to the many requests from my customers for a quick reference to the generally accepted healing properties of gems and crystals. The subject is vast and the source material widespread, sometimes even contradictory. I have cross-referenced many works on the subject trying to find the common denominators and have added observations from my own experience where relevant. This text then, is a composite collection from what I have read, heard or learnt over the years about the claimed properties and healing vibrations of these truly glorious gifts from Mother Earth. If you wish to study further, may I suggest the following books from which much of the information here was gleaned:

It must be said, that no claims are made for miraculous cures and substituting crystal use for orthodox medical care if dis-ease is extreme would obviously not be wise. The stones may simply assist us to use our innate abilities to focus our mental energy for healing, or communication with our spiritual being and to amplify and stimulate our highest aspirations to enable us to heal ourselves, each other and the Earth. At the end of the day it is for you to make up your own mind as you follow your path in the fascinating world of crystals. They will teach you much about themselves if you let them.

I wish you joy on your journey of discovery with gems and crystals. Do not limit them, or yourself. Follow your intuition and instincts. Play with them, experience them and follow your inner guidance. May they bring the "energy of the stars" into your being so that you can radiate the wholeness, love and light that is your birthright.

Cleansing and Charging
Most crystals need fairly regular cleansing as so many of them absorb energy, amplify and hold it, particularly clear quartz. Besides, a dusty crystal is a sad sight. Run them under a tap at least once a week to restore their sparkle. Communicate your intent as you cleanse, whether it is to clear the accumulated energy, de-programme it or re-programme it. Take them all for a bath in a clear running stream whenever you can or bury in the earth for a few days for a really deep cleansing - remember to communicate your intention to the crystal as you do these 'rituals'. My personal preference for cleansing is smudging with Sage, a traditional Native American technique which is really great for you and the house as well! Smudge sticks or bundles can be purchased at most new age shops.

Powerful opportunities for charging your crystals are presented during lunar and solar cycles. To charge a stone with the energy of hope, enthusiasm and new beginnings, try leaving it overnight in the rays of the new moon. The full moon presents the chance to charge a crystal with the energy of love, abundance and nurturing. The dark of the moon would be a good time to charge a crystal for meditation or divination. Essentially though, you can charge a crystal by simply communicating your intention to it and taking some appropriate action, it's really up to you and your imagination. Thought is powerful energy folks. Oh if only everyone understood that.

Agate
Chalcedony Quartz. Comes in a vast array of beautiful variations all with their own special properties. All agates are said to bring about good health, good fortune, wealth and a long life. For centuries they have been thought to bring luck to those who work with or on the land. Prized as an amulet. In general, agates balance, stabilise and protect, balance male/female energies and assist with connection to nature spirits. Alleviates stress when held. Gives courage and banishes fears. Calms and increases self-esteem. Reduces fever. Earthing and energetic, it is a powerful healing stone assisting the colon, circulatory system, lymphatics, pancreas and the pulses. All agates assist physical and emotional security.

Alexandrite
Alexandrite is a variety of chrysoberyl and is a rare gemstone regarded as having regenerative power. Considered in the orient to be a magical stone bringing good fortune to its owner. Enhances the assimilation of proteins and can facilitate the alignment of mental, emotional and etheric bodies creating a more balanced emotional state. Reinforces self-esteem and augments one's ability to experience joy.

Amazonite
In addition to the properties listed for feldspar, of which it is a type, Amazonite is a powerful stone, while at the same time gentle and friendly. Greatly prized by the Egyptians. It soothes the nervous system while giving strength to the heart and body. It is uplifting and can balance the mental and auric body as well as rid the system of negativities. Useful for artistic creativity. Reduces self-damaging behaviour and enhances confidence and grace. Assists conditions caused by calcium deficiency.

Amber
A sacred stone to the natives of both America and India. This fossilised resin has a good influence on the endocrine system, spleen and heart. Helps one to 'find the kindness within and helps the mind to find its soul'. Helps with absent-mindedness. Used magically for making and breaking spells. Allows the body to heal itself by transforming negative energy into positive energy. It's bright, sunny, soothing energy helps to calm nerves and enliven the disposition. It cleanses the environment in which it rests and is excellent for purifying birthing and re-birthing rooms. Said to assist Atlantean past life recall and to protect from radiation, especially x-rays, sun, computers, and others' energies.

Amethyst
Part of the quartz family (the purple colour due to small traces of iron). Carries the purple ray. Considered to be an especially powerful spiritual stone and essential part of any crystal collection. A stone of divine love, spirituality and contentment. Bestows stability, strength, invigoration and peace. Healers of times gone by suggested that this stone could help in dream revelation. Many claim that it will help with inspired dreams and give clarity of thought if you put it under the pillow at night. I recommend without reservation holding a piece when restless and having trouble 'settling' into sleep, my favourite wand of amethyst will soothe me in minutes and bring about a sense of peace and harmony, and thus a good night's sleep. It is a stone that can help with a wide variety of problems, inspiring healing of all organs. It has a good effect on right brain activity, pineal, pituitary glands and is an exceptional cleanser and energiser. Often used to gain psychic knowledge. Aids spiritual enhancement by bringing the lower natures to a higher consciousness. Cuts through illusion and a helpful friend for meditators, inspiring healing, divine love, inspiration and intuition. Can be used to protect against psychic attack, the energy being transmuted into loving positive energy. Especially aids sobriety, alcohol, food, sex or other addictions. And if all that wasn't enough it is said to reduce fleas if kept in a pet's water!

Ametrine
Ametrine combines the powerful forces of amethyst and citrine and in addition to the properties of those lovely stones, ametrine combines the qualities of the intellect with spirituality. It stimulates the intellect and is also excellent for meditation. It disperses negativity from the aura, stabilises the emotions, dispels anger and encourages one to 'look on the bright side'. Enhances awareness and all aspects of compatibility. Can balance the thyroid and activate the thymus and balance male/female qualities. Helpful with astral travel providing protection and awareness of the difference between physical and astral realms. Ametrine works quickly in all areas. It helps us to value our place in the overall scheme of things, to develop our personal power for the greater good and to balance the world of matter and spirit.

Angelite
Discovered in the 80's and, we understand, comes from only one place in the world, the Nazca plains in Peru. Provides psychic connection to 'oneness with universe', the angelic realms and spiritual guidance. It heightens sensory awareness and assists with astral travel. Helps us to see the paths that will surmount challenges. Aligns physical and etheric fields for healing self and others. Regenerates and rejuvenates ill or depleted areas. Protective and strengthening and excellent for creative people.

Apache Tear
Small dark, smoky-transluscent obsidian pebbles. In addition to the properties listed for obsidian, the Apache Tear has been used to comfort in times of grief allowing for true understanding of the situation of distress and providing insight and acceptance. Eases and releases pain, loss, sadness, anger, etc. to help heal and go on with life. Grants forgiveness. Stimulates spontaneity and the removal of barriers which are self-limiting. Can be used to enhance the assimilation of vitamins C and D and to aid in the elimination of toxins and to alleviate muscle spasms. Traditionally considered to be one of the tears of Native American women, mourning for the warriors driven from a cliff by the cavalry. Used for vision quest purposes.

Apatite
Good for communication, meditation and to control weight gain. Stimulates throat chakra and kidneys and helps to eliminate blockage or congestion from any of the chakras. Enhances creativity self-expression and teaching ability. Healing for mouth, throat, thyroid, high blood pressure and stuttering. Reduces hunger. High calcium content strengthens bones, muscles, mineral assimilation. Also said that it can further the connection with UFOs and can provide access to past-life insights and telepathy.

Apophyllite
Very powerful for deep, peaceful stillness and alpha state, meditation, dream recall, clairvoyance, out of body travel. Green is most powerful. Heals and bring joyous openness to the heart centre as it opens the brow and crown chakras. Clears mental fuzziness and channels for higher-self/angelic realm contact. Provides for a loving attunement to the body and spirit and simulates the intuition.

Aqua Aura Quartz
Aqua Aura is quartz that has been enhanced with pure gold. Combining both the properties of quartz and gold to produce a very intense energy. In general, quartz crystals can be said to be energy amplifiers. Whether worn or carried they act as a physical and mental energisers. They tend to cancel the harmful effects of radiation and radioactivity and need regular cleansing. Aqua Aura quartz stimulates the throat chakra and helps one to open to 'channel'. Has also been used to activate the energies of others stones for healing. Used widely to cleanse and smooth the aura, to activate all chakras and to release negativity from the emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual bodies.

Aquamarine
A variety of beryl and the 'stone of courage'. Calming to the mind and uplifting to the spirit. Brings spiritual vision. Preserves innocence and helps judgmental people to be more tolerant. Quickens the intelligence and leads to greater self-knowledge, giving clarity of mind, aiding personal creativity. Helps one to lose fears and phobias. Provides a shielding property for the aura and subtle bodies. Great physical, mental and emotional balancer. Helps to reduce fluid retention. Particularly powerful in meditation, inspiring, love, peace and serenity, however should only be used by those sufficiently practised to be able to cope with working on a deeper level. Works well with water signs or those with strong connections to the sea or maritime affairs as it has the attributes of the ocean, tranquillity and communication with sea life.

Aventurine
A variety of quartz, usually green with mica inclusions. Much like Moss agate, in bath water gives a soft soothing energy for general healing. It helps equalise blood pressure, encourage creativity, gives courage, independence, calmness and serenity. It alleviates skin disease. Gives adventure and luck in love and sport. Heals emotional pain, fear and imbalances by dissolving blocks in the heart centre. Balances male/female energies. Centres while inspiring well-being and health. Said to help in career changes and show the opportunities in career and spiritual growth. Often linked with prosperity and abundance. Augments the pioneering spirit.

Azurite
The 'stone of heaven' this deep blue stone assists the flow of energy through the nervous system, helping the body to utilise its oxygen, strengthening the blood. A powerful assistance to meditation, it cuts through illusion and enhances dormant abilities allowing greater mental control, making decision making easier. Simply hold a piece and ask to have troublesome thoughts evaporate. Inspires creativity, intuition and bodily well-being. Awakens the development of the psychic self and gives insight into all areas of one's life. Considered sacred by the Native Americans it was used to facilitate contact with one's spiritual guide to both feel the presence and to understand the message. Reduces depression and promotes awareness and understanding.

Bloodstone
A variety of chalcedony and as its name suggests, it is good for the blood. A stone of courage and an intense healing stone. Toughens and oxygenates the bloodstream enhancing physical and mental vitality. Prevents high blood pressure. Assists with menstrual cramps, anaemia, bloodclots, haemorrhoids, birthing/reproductivity, heart, spleen, bone marrow and iron deficiencies. Strengthens idealism and the will for good. Assists decision making. A powerful stone that reduces stress, is centering and inspires intuition and creativity. Improves ones talents, abilities and wealth.

Blue Lace Agate
In addition to the qualities of all agate, blue lace is said to expand consciousness, soothe, calm the mind, bring peace and patience and heal fiery emotions. Helpful in the treatment of arthritis and for strengthening the skeletal structure. Assists with public speaking.

Boulder Opal
Melody, in "Love is In The Earth" has a long entry on Boulder and Boulder Matrix Opal, in short she calls it a stone of purity and intensity that brings clarity to problematical situations and allows one to remain centered during times of decision-making and stress. An excellent stone for clearing and brightening the aura. Has been used to access ones spiritual and animal guides and provides a connection to the stars, facilitating communication between the Earth plane and the "star people" of this world and other worlds. Has been used in the treatment of disorders associated with aging and fragility. Elsewhere, I've seen it said to aid inner beauty, faithfulness, eyesight and help to recall past lives.

Bronzite
Melody calls this the 'stone of courtesy', promoting loving equitability and unprejudiced discernment within the user. It also provides the stimulus for decisiveness of that which has not been resolved in ones life. In healing it can be useful to bring an alkaline body state to the acid condition. It can quicken the assimilation of iron.

Calcite
A variably coloured mineral that releases electrical impulses when placed under pressure and in the case of Mangano calcite, glows orange under UV light. It is an energy amplifier. Aids memory, mental clarity, soothes anxiety and calms turbulent emotions. Excellent stone when studying the arts and sciences. Said to be a world teacher for all humanity, facilitating macrocosmic awareness and appreciation of the creative forces of nature. Useful for those with stress-related problems and emotional disorders it strengthens in times of mental anguish and turmoil. Benefits the kidneys, pancreas and spleen. Can be used for the assimilation of calcium within the body. Placement of the various colours of calcite upon the body has induced amplification of the energy fields. Placing calcite of the appropriate chakra colour upon the chakra has not only cleared and activated that chakra but has provided a sweeping action that cleared the remaining centres. Clear and Golden calcite are excellent energy sources for use at the crown chakra. Optical calcite gives clearer vision and communication, wellness and general cleansing. Blue eases pain (especially back), Orange uplifts, brings joy, happiness and humour.

Carnelian
A powerful and highly evolved healing stone. In addition to the properties of agate, this mineral stimulates analytical capabilities and precision. Awakens one's inherent talent, dramatic abilities, confidence and boldness. Assists energy flow and vitality, creativity, past-life recall, emotional warmth, courage, happiness, self-esteem and memory. Protects against envy, fear and rage and helps to banish sorrow from the emotional body. It is said to help with blood disorders and the elimination of waste products and toxins from the body. Used widely in auric healing and for chakra balancing. Protects from evil and elevates the spirits. Can dispel apathy indolence and passivity. Can be used in the treatment of neuralgia, gallstones, kidney stone, pollen allergies and colds. In the past it was used to help stop nosebleeds and soften anger. It was thought by the Moslems to fulfil all desires. King Alphonso X of Spain believed it improved voice projection. Nowadays more commonly used to help those with stress-related problems to be 'grounded' and balanced. Energises the physical, emotional and mental self. Aids kidneys, lungs, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, menstrual cramps and appetite. Helps to connect with the inner self, giving good concentration and in opening the heart it brings joy, sociability and warmth.

Celestite
This 'stone of heaven' reduces stress by giving relaxation and peace of mind but also accelerates spiritual growth. It gently soothes the nerves and quiets the mind giving serenity, harmony, easiness and stillness for receiving connection to spirit. Helps to expand creative expression and give clarity of thought and speech. Aids throat, thyroid, potassium/manganese deficiencies. An excellent stone for use in the pursuit of music. A 'bright hope' in days of despair, bringing calmness and harmony to one's life. An exquisite stone to give, in the spirit of love and with the blessing of respect.

Chrysocolla
A lovely blue/green stone, which according to some Native American writers has taken up where turquoise left off. Often called 'the woman's stone' for its excellent assistance with menstrual cramps, flushes, pre-menstrual tension and related problems. However, it strengthens feminine qualities in both genders. Aids in the prevention of ulcers and digestive problems. The high conductivity from copper draws out pain, heat (arthritic conditions, fever, inflammations). Beneficial to the lungs and all associated conditions. On the throat it helps with expression of feelings, verbal and artistic creativity and thyroid. Alleviates guilt, tensions and phobias while inspiring creativity, personal power, joy and serenity. Keeps one in light, love and healing daily.

Chrysoprase
Bright translucent green chalcedony, sometimes called the 'joy stone' as it helps ease depression and anxiety bringing joy, cheerfulness and personal insight. Said to be particularly lucky if worn with agate. Helps to balance neurotic patterns and ease sexual frustration. Can help to heal a broken heart enabling one to understand the patterns of growth. In ancient times it was often worn as a remedy for gout and rheumatism. It uplifts the heart centre, gives greater flexibility, wisdom, generosity and self-confidence.

Citrine
Said to be one of the two minerals on the planet which does not hold and accumulate negative energy but dissipates and transmutes it. Hence it never needs clearing or cleansing. However most of the bright golden/orange citrine seen on the market is actually amethyst that has been subjected to intense heat by man. Natural citrine is less pretty and less common. One has to ask if the qualities attributed to it still apply if it is not a natural citrine. Very likely, as the natural citrine is amethyst that turns golden under intense heat, albeit a natural process. But I still think it's best to find a natural one if you can. It prevents self-destructive tendencies by assisting in raising self-esteem, giving cheer, light-heartedness, hope, warmth and energy. Energises, promotes generosity and creativity. Try holding a piece when feeling low. Benefits kidney, colon, liver, gallbladder, digestive organs, heart and tissue regeneration. Cleanses the aura and detoxifies the body. Reduces anxiety, fear, depression, stomach tension, food disorders and allergies. Often called the 'merchants friend' as it is said to attract abundance and bring prosperity.

Coral
This simple stone from the sea comes in varied shades from white to pale pink to orange, red and brown. Protective when travelling, especially when moving from one country to another. Helpful for those who worry too much about what others think of them. Excellent for a child's first stone as it prevents from falling without dampening their spirit of adventure. Balancing for those in caring professions such as nursing or social work. Said to protect from evil, increase imagination, intuition and assist visualisation. Helps to resolve conflicts. Aids digestion and protects against negativity. The red and orange stimulates first and second chakras for energy and warmth, fertility. Energises emotions, muscles, blood, heart, reproductive system, thyroid, metabolism, meridians, spine, bone and tissue regeneration. (Avoid if blood pressure is high, or one is feverish or anxious). The Pink resonates with the heart centre and increases sensitivity, caring and compassion. The white soothes, heals meridians, stress, olfactory nerves. The dark colours are specifically used for creativity and repelling lower energies.

Danburite
Beautifully bright clear crystal. Powerfully radiates bright, pure, white light, filling body, mind and spirit (and relationships) with loving light. Excellent to cleanse and purify. Fills third eye and crown chakras with joy and illumination. Brings truth, honesty, a smile to the heart and receptivity to mind and spirit. Strengthens mind, nervous system, life force, and awareness. Stimulates intellect, enhances psychic ability and self-assuredness.

Diamond
The 'queen of crystals' and a master healer. Dispels negativity, purifies the body and spirit and reflects the desires of the highest consciousness in its enhancement of brain functions and the removal of blockages in the personality. Brings forth love, harmony and purity. Powerfully amplifies and absorbs the thoughts and attitudes of the user, both strengths and weaknesses, e.g. prosperity, generosity vs. miserliness, love vs. distrust, spirituality vs. lust etc. cleanse thoroughly when first acquired. Helps to manifest abundance in all areas of one's life. Inspires creativity, imagination, ingenuity, inventiveness and brilliance. In Roman times the diamond was bound to the left arm of the warrior to bring added strength and courage. Very large diamonds are traditionally thought to be unlucky. However, the bloodstone and diamond worn together are said to be particularly lucky. Not surprising that it is traditionally used in engagement rings as it enhances faithfulness.

Dioptase
Tiny, deep blue-green silicate crystals. Said to attract love, bring abundance, prosperity and health. Promotes genuineness, sincerity, emotional balance, self-worth, and deep well-being. Excellent all-round healing stone and for furthering spiritual attunement. Vitalises, balances and tunes the body and mind. Stimulates past life memory. Effectively used in efforts to heal the earth. Helps to release stress and tension. Enhances and strengthens the cardiovascular and central nervous systems. It similarly looks after ulcers, nervous stomach, heart trouble and variable blood pressures. Said to provide for an increased T-cell count in AIDS patients.

Emerald
A deep green beryl stone of great power. The 'stone of successful love'. Said to provide for domestic bliss and to instil both sensitivity and loyalty within the self and within others. Good for meditation as it assists with deeper spiritual insight. Clairvoyance and all types of 'seeing' are assisted. Inspires love, prosperity, kindness, tranquillity, balance, patience and the power to heal. Symbolises serenity, success in love, wealth, happiness and peace of mind. Is said to help with eyesight problems and restore youth. Thought to improve the memory, lift depression and help with insomnia. Strengthens the immune system, heart, liver, kidney, breathing, blood, thymus, pancreas and vitalises and tones the body and mind. Also said to bring beneficial consequences to legal matters.

Feldspar
Is the name of a family of silicates (including Amazonite and Moonstone). The general properties of the group are that they can be used in the treatment of disorders associated with the skin and muscular structure. It has been found as a constituent of moon rock and is said to provide for connection with inter-galactic intelligence. Can assist with finding misplaced items. Supports issues of self-awareness and self-love and helps one to detach from the old and encourage unconventional and exciting methods to attain goals.

Fluorite
A powerful healing stone considered by many to be the most important for the Age of Aquarius. Strengthens bone tissue (and as such is beneficial to women suffering from osteoporosis). Helps to bring peace and calm to a troubled mind, holding even a very small piece in the hand can bring about a sense of calm. Useful for grounding, balancing and focusing one's energies. Used for protection and in particular in astral travel, it unblocks energy, provides a psychic shield. Absorbs negative and other energies and alters them. Don't be surprise if a lovely crystal clear piece of triple A Chinese fluorite turns into a cloudy old lump having done this job. Beneficial for teeth, gums and lower back pain. Brings greater concentration in meditation assisting communication with the higher and more abstract concepts. Aids comprehension, truth, intellect and consciousness. Opens the chakras.

Galena
Haven't been able to find a huge amount of information about this lovely mineral other than it promotes harmony, healthy hair, good for medical students and promotes holistic studies.

Garnet
The 'stone of health' has been used as a sacred stone by the Native Americans, the South American Indians, the Aztecs, the African tribal elders and the Mayans. It enhances ones' internal fire brining creative powers to the stage of implementation. Increases determination, energy and courage. Also known as the 'stone of commitment' it can attract love, increase fidelity, fertility, passion and sexuality. Good for toxicity, depression and inactive thyroid and protect from infection. Aids in dream and past life recall. Thought to be especially useful in cases of inflammatory disease, rheumatism, arthritis, inflammation of the joints. Also useful with blood problems and energises the circulation bringing it to normal if deficient. If worn on the left side of the body it is believed to protect against depression as well as rheumatism. Traditionally thought to bring success and new opportunities. Will help the 'shrinking violet' to emerge from their shells. Enhancing social popularity and joyous expressions of desire. (Avoid if there is an excess of anger, impatience, high blood pressure or heat).

Gold
Precious for many reasons. Excellent all purpose high level gem amplifier and electrical conductor. Said to attract honours, wealth, prosperity and happiness, to provide composure, to stabilise the emotional system, to alleviate tension and stress and to amplify positive feelings. Strengthens the nervous system, purifies and energises the entire physical body, aiding tissue regeneration and attracting positive energies. A powerful mind balancer, opens the mind and allows the acceptance of love and aids personal illumination. Can be used for the treatment of arthritis, skin cancer, blood disorders, pneumonia, vascular diseases, heart disease, eye problems (traditionally rubbed on styes), paralysis, rheumatism, skin disorders, tuberculosis, nightmares and spinal problems. Also assists one in attuning to nature and its healing forces.

Hematite
One of the most grounding of all stones. It has been called the 'stone for the mind' as it helps one to 'sort out' things and can be used for mental attunement, memory enhancement, original thinking and technical knowledge. Assists mental clarity, concentration, practicality, helps with study, bookkeeping and detail work providing for both mental and manual dexterity. If you are drawn to this stone and it likes you it will bring about beneficial oxygenation of the bloodstream and energise the spleen. Generally, it strengthens the body and helps one to cope better with stress. Egyptians used it to calm hysteria and anxiety. Inspires courage and increases personal magnetism whilst keeping the head out of the clouds. Conducive to enabling one to enter into a loving relationship. It is capable of helping the body to remain cool and can be used on the forehead to draw out the heat from a fever.

Herkimer Diamond
A unique form of quartz with similar qualities, but where quartz is connected to the earth, the Herkimer forms without attachment, it is suspended in the liquid inside the host rock and can grow in any direction without inhibition. For this reason, it lifts the spirit, expands and frees us from the weight of too many responsibilities. A powerful amplifier when used by healers, it assists in the reduction of stress and balances the energies of body and mind. Sometimes called the 'dream stone' it soothes tensions and assists sleep and dream recall and increases awareness of dreams. Stimulates clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities as it can shift the brain powerfully into alpha/deep stillness, opening the brow and crown centres for a strong, clear channel and psychic readings. Enhances meditation, inner vision, visualisation and astral travel into the light. If you need a little joy, laughter, spontaneity and dazzle in your life, try a Herkimer as it contains the power to free the spirit and let it soar.

Howlite
Gently absorbs and uplifts stress, tension, anxiety, emotional intensity etc. Combines reasoning, observation and patience, providing for discernment. Quietly loving, calming. Works with the heart centre, bringing greater gentleness, patience and tact. Helps bones, teeth and other calcium aspects of the body.

One of the major stones for use in the third eye/crown area during healing, guided meditations and astral travel. Chalcedony quartz. Called the 'Talisman' because healers have traditionally used it for enhanced diagnosis. Gives a sense of balance to the spirit and grounds one physically and emotionally. Considered sacred by many native cultures. Protects from witchcraft and negativity and soothes the nerves. Moldavite
Moldavite stands apart from other meteorites and tektites with it’s clear dark green interior and multitextured surface. In legend it was believed to be the green stone in the Holy Grail and had the power to quicken one’s spiritual evolution. Prized by humans for thousands of years it is still given as gifts amongst royalty. Sometimes cut and polished for jewellery with gold allegedly providing the best conductivity. Silver, however, presents female moon energy so can be a good balance for the Moldavite’s sun and fire energy. Moldavite carries a very high vibration and stimulates the organism to eliminate toxins, to rejuvenate cells and repel bacteria and harmful foreign substances. Obsidian
A natural glass formed from volcanic lava, usually black. Keeps energy well grounded. Good for vision work or divination.
