These printss are from my undergraduate years at Western Illinois University. Although they are from my past portfolio, the drawings are still signifigant examples of the way I view and portray my subjects.
This leads me to an important aspect of my current ceramic work. I am attempting to create imagery on my functional ceramics. In doing so, I am using all of the many experiences I gained from creating the prints and drawings from these pages. My attempts at image creation on my ceramics has lead me back to the realm of printing. I am exploring the possibilities of silkscreening images onto my ceramics or onto decals to place on my ceramics after firing to temperature.
