Carter's Car Remembered
.................. |
| Mexico and Back...
This week marks the 2nd anniversary of the baby-blue's heroic journey from The Hawk to Mexico. It "reliably" did the trek through 36 states, across mountains and deserts, stopping eventually in Puerto Penasco, Mexico for a week before returning having notched 22,000 kilometers. When asked before the trip, Carter, who had sold the car for $150, said, "Aya, I didn't dare go to Tim Horton's in it."

Johnny's All-In! |
| Like much of the world in December, John Fall, a Hawk native, is beginning his 25-day countdown four months later. He's sticking to his bet to grow his hair until May 15th for an undisclosed sum of money. Sources say that Johnny will keep the mane, citing they've seen him wear it as many as 3 different ways on a single bar night. Best guess for the Arena Dance? A feathered, conditioned look to accentuate his pink shirt. |
Though support for The Hawk Weekly is pending, this being its first unofficial issue, the fast-approaching Spring will surely be a catalyst for entertainment on the Island. Send facts and rumours to hawkroad@mac.com, and if you see Burhead, donate a brew to the birthday boy. The first Arena Dance of 2004 is saturday, so next week's captions will all read, "Don't tell no one, but..." Check out the Sites of the Week below and remember, real men don't take their hoes clammin'. |

| C'Mon, Steve! |
A reliable source has told the Weekly that Shawn has finally offered Steve Mosher, his apparent carpenter for life, an ultimatum: for each additional week Steve needs to complete the Channel Estate, Shawn will receive one of Mosher's cars. By all reports, this gives the tradesman 8 months before he'll have to resort to alternative transportation. An early survey has shown that motorists are more likely to pick up Cliff than Steve, though it is thought Mosher has been in talks with Carter' car.
