Within the Hawai‘i State Teachers Association, the Youth, Human, &
Civil Rights Committee shall have the following specific functions:
It shall coordinate, assist and promote all Corporation policies with regard
to student and other youth programs in the schools and within the state.
It shall maintain contact with and assist various youth programs and services
which are promoted by the NEA or its affiliates.
It shall investigate and report to the Board other student concerns,
such as health, safety, welfare, and rights.
It shall coordinate, assist, and promote human and civil rights.
