Gregor Trieste was born in New York City and raised in Woodstock, NY. He has been performing ever since he was a young boy, including doing magic on the streets of Times Square at age 12. Upon Joanne Woodward's recommendation, he attended The Neighborhood Playhouse School Of Theatre in NYC. Following that, he then continued his education with private studies in acting, singing, and Improv. Several years back he had the privilege to meet and learn from Alan Arkin. It was from Mr. Arkin that he received much accolades for his innovative and humorous talents which continues to fuel and sustain Gregor's theatrical endeavors.

In the past several years, he has done many theatrical and film productions throughout the Hudson Valley in New York. He proudly directed and produced a very funny short film called "Joe's Cup" which premiered at different film festivals. He is also a professional photographer (hence this satellite web page). He has been an official photographer for the Woodstock Film Festival from 2002-2005. His wife, Maria, and family, Zane & Edison, are also better known as the BuddhaPesto Family. They make a very popular and ever growing product called BuddhaPesto (a Basil Pesto) available in many health and gourmet stores in the Hudson Valley and beyond. As a family they can be seen selling at many of the farmers markets throughout New York state.
In 2004 he received his Screen Actors Guild card for a principle speaking role he had in "Ghost Dance" for Alan Blumberg, which showed at the Sundance Film Festival. This then gave him the opportunity to play a refuge in "War Of The Worlds" for Steven Spielberg, filmed in Athens, NY. Gregor admits, that while theatre will always be an inspiration and wonderful ongoing experience for him, more importantly he knows he is finally full filling his dreams and passions by more seriously focusing on pursuing his career in Film and TV.
Presently, he is co-writing a screenplay with his brother that is in being considered for a future production for SadBro Cinema. He would also fortunately have the opportunity to play the leading role for this up and coming independent film.
He is always looking forward to opportunities to enlighten his career and fulfill his creative future. If given a chance or proper avenue for his profile of talents, he knows he could fulfill his dreams and others. “If only to take a bite out of what life has to offer . . . before his dentures teethe him to death”.
