So what are these links, and why do I care?
Greg's
"blog" site
This site has a "blog", or "WebLog" of the additions I have added,
based on my Fast Facts meetings. You can go here to see what I
covered, and in case you missed the meeting, you'll be able to see
what companies and products that I referenced. There are also links
to emails that I sent, (including positive trade articles on Apple),
and instructions of previous trainings, including how to set up
NetRestore and NetBoot. This is the most dynamic part of my web site,
and could be updated daily. I have also included an XML feed, so you
can be automatically "pinged" when I make changes to this
site.
Versiontracker
This site is the premiere site for finding out what's current in the
Software world. I use this several times each week, for things like
printer drivers, shareware software, application upgrades, etc. You
should chech this site out everytime you are making a new "Master"
for your next PowerBook deployment.
MacOSX
Labs
This site is a consortium of various Universities work in managing
labs for OS X. They also have Fantastic Webcasts, where you get to
see the Product Managers for various Apple products, discuss the new
technologies. Previous examples (which are downloadable) include John
DeTroye on MacManager, and Mike BGombich on Carbon Copy Cloner. Need
to check this site out!
MacOSX
Hints
This site has a whole slew of "tricks" and hints to make your Mac run
better, and do more things, even lead over tall buildings in a single
ssh connection. Changes daily, all the hints are very interesting.
Searchable database.
