Barad Lomin
Situated at the great bend of the River Baranduin in Cardolan, Barad Lomin has long been forgotten by the wise and important of the kingdom.  At one time, however, it was an inland haven for Numenorean ships, its tower a welcome sight to many a homesick captain and crew.

The year is 1325 of the Third Age.  The people of Barad Lomin, as well as most of Middle Earth, have enjoyed a time of relative peace since the downfall of the dark lord at the beginning of the age.  But during the reign of King Malvegil of Arthedain, dark things begin to stir in the north once more.  Unwittingly, a young woman named Keren Woodman helps bring to light the encroaching dark in her own village.
