Ready for the next assault on the mountain.
Expecting failure.
The certified copy of my marriage license showed
up today. In theory I now have sufficient documentation for the state to give me
an ID. But I think I'll come away empty-handed Monday. Why? Because the
embossing on this thing is so subtle that you can't tell for sure that that's
what it is, let alone actually identify the specific seal. It just looks like
the paper's a little wrinkly in two places.
