Went to DMV on March 10, giving up
on the normal Saturday chores that also have limited hours. Spent about an hour
waiting and came away with a shiny new ... nothing. Why? Because I don't have
any proof that I live in the state. And I'm not likely to get anything that
counts any time soon either.
I'm 36
years old. In that time, I've spent roughly 5 non-consecutive years not living
in this state. I've spent most of my life living less than 10 miles from where I
sit right now. But I didn't have a thing to actually prove that.
