I Could Be Fired for This

or, What I am doing today

I'm sick--yet again. This is my second cold of the year, and I really don't ever get sick, so it's starting to piss me off. I told Rick yesterday that I never got this sick when I smoked--there have to be studies on this right? That perhaps now that my lungs and such have started to heal, that they are tender or something? Get on this!

So, I'm home, and since Ursinus's stupid-ass web access to my email is tenuous at best, I am reduced to catching up on bills, correspondence, saving TiVo'd things to VCR (Bride and Prejudice and Without You I'm Nothing down, a couple episodes of Style Me yet to go; by the way, if I haven't already said it, this series was both the worst and best thing on TV. The worst production values (and WE is distinguishing itself in that category once again with Skating's Next Star) but the best 'character' on TV in Jon and the best unintentional comedy. Priceless.), and, well why not, blogging. So, a few posts about some random things I have meant to get to in shorter style than my normal blog entries. Let me try that again. Most of my blog entries are long-ish, while I notice that most blogs feature 1-2 paragraphs per topic. Let's try for that.

Finally, an interesting blog moment. I typically read Americablog, and they have some gay blogs on their blogroll; one which I have been reading for a while has been Towleroad, as it has a wide range of themes and is fairly entertaining (not simply for their links to eye candy). Lo and behold, it turns out that a blog cousin has started to blog for Towleroad, Dan Williford. I say blog cousin (blogative? i've heard of blogfathers, but we need another term), because he is "related" to the folks at Second Americano (though how exactly I cannot remember...I think St. Mary's but don't quote me on that) and I click through to his blog sometimes. Funny, huh?

or not. Off to more blogging.
