Fox and Hound Pub & GrilleFox and Hound Pub & Grille, 160 N. Gulph Rd.,
King of Prussia, PA, (610) 962-0922
The Fox and Hound has become one of our standbys,
surprisingly enough. I say surprisingly, because there isn't really anything
spectacular about the place, except that it has two things we really enjoy: tons
of sports on tons of TVs and great nachos. We are simple
men.
Our last time there was really like any other time there: we always sit in the same place and order basically the same thing. For those of you who knew the old Dick Clark's at KoP, this place has taken over that space, and where the dance floor used to be is a huge room with enormous TVs, several pool tables, and many tables; this is where we usually sit. I mentioned our rut-ness here: I have a beer or two (sometimes the special happy hour beer, or often just a Yuengling) and Rick has a martini or two; then we have the great nachos (tons of chips, tons of real cheese, tons of other toppings); finally, we both have a salad or the soup and salad (bonus: they serve their soup in bread bowls....more and more carbs!). Hey...it works. Their food focus is on ribs and other meat, and thus doesn't really interest me. If you want to watch the game, have access to tons of alcohol (their drink and beer list is exhaustive--they have many unusual foreign beers on tap), and have decent and decently priced food, I recommend Fox and Hound.
