Terminus and Beyond

I'm not going to be with you guys at Terminus. I have to go home to Detroit to attend a funeral. I be getting to Savannah on Monday. Here are my though for this weekend.

At Terminus you should focus on man defenses flick, backhand, and straight up. If any team is successfully hucking on you like Mary Washington, try a backhand force. On the straight up mark, remind people to slightly shade the flick, and to protect the sideline. Defensively marking should be the primary focus. Also I'd like to see our dump defense get tighter. Don't sag of your man early in the stall count. Don't over react to backwards cuts, stay at home, and push the dump backwards.

Offensively, try to run the plays. You need to make them work. Receivers need to keep cutting. Handler focus should be to run the right dump cuts. Chill on the fast breaks a little.

Team needs to get into the game and make up calls, and follow the play on the sidelines.

If you have a chance on Monday, you should try to organize a practice:

Warmup
Triangle drill
endzone offense, 7 on 7 each team gets ten shots.
Zone Defense, trapping one side, and hard trap
